Re: Trinity League

Hey, guys!

Just got the email on the Trinity league but I would need a team that's looking for a BB/A player. I've got about a year of court rust on my game, but know I could shake it pretty quick.

Quick stats: 6'4", coached weak-side hitter, 6/2 and 5/1 experience and formerly certified USAV ref.

My number is (803) 640-2126 for anyone who's interested.

Thanks!

Ric

Re: Trinity League

We had the practice/sign up this past wed.  We had a great turn out.  We currently have 6 A level teams and 2 B level teams.  We also have a few floaters and teams that yet to register.  If anyone knows of people wanting to submit a B team please contact me so i can get them in.

Re: Trinity League

Thank you for the great league, Shane, volleyball in Augusta has needed something for the intermediate players for a long time!

Re: Trinity League

I'm not sure if I'd label it as intermediate.  The calls will be tighter.  If you are reading this and thinking about joining the league, hitters do exist and many of them hit well above intermediate level.  The reason I say this is simply to keep people from getting hurt. - But I appreciate the comment, the thanks goes to everyone who are willing to participate in making Augusta volleyball better.  It's our aim and I don't want any credit.  The credit again goes those who show up to support the league and keep it running.

We appreciate it guys.

Re: Trinity League

Well we start over this Wednesday. I know Shane's team (which I'm on) is looking for a good setter. I'm sure there will be lots of other people looking for a good setter. Maybe you should offer your setting services to the highest bidder. =0P N E wayz, make sure you're there this Wednesday.

What time do things get started on Wednesday night?  I'm looking into showing up but I have to make a 10 hour drive on Thursday...so I need to know how long it'll last too.  Thanks for the info.

Re: Trinity League

For everyone that checks this involved with Trinity.  Due to a heckic schedule, B4 has passed their team spot to a team in waiting to join Trinity.  This team will be taking the place B4 for the remaining weeks in the spring league.  Please give them a warm welcome.

Re: Trinity League

This is a quick reminder about the Trinity League. Last night (Wednesday) was the Finals. As Shane said, we'll be starting next week with free play. So if you don't have a team and want to jump on a team... or put a team together this is the perfect chance to do that. We'll have sign up sheets for all the teams who will be taking part in the Summer season.

Re: Trinity League

ALSO - there are several good players looking for more teams spots,  if you are interested in picking them up, let me know.  I think Steve Miner may like to sub occasionally, maybe Kenny and Glenn as well.
